Owen & I started our biking journey from 11am on Saturday. We rode from our home to Ardenwood to meet Emily & Vho. Four of us took off to Coyote Hills Park. It was kinna chilly and very windy. Our head almost got blew off. By the time we got to Coyote Hills, the sun came out…it was a wonderful day with beautiful views. We can see the ocean and Dumbarton Bridge. We met a big group of goats on the hills; there were hundreds of them. One of the goats actually escaped from the restricted area and he hided in the green bushes. I hope he would be able to catch up with his other friends afterward.
Owen shouted “GOOOOOOO!!” every time we ran downhill, and we went from 100 miles per hour downhill to 0.001 miles per hour to go uphill within seconds. I think we actually went faster if we walked instead of riding the bike when we went up. We stopped at the picnic area and had a Maggie-homemade sandwich. Delicious?! Not really...
Going back is much easier, because this is no more 長命斜. On our way home, we stopped at the basketball court. Each of us showed our talents in the court. Vincent is our three-pointer. Emily is our lay-up. I am the free-throw specialist. Finally, Owen is the all around players as well as the ball catcher. We had so much fun.
We looked at the watch…oh! It’s time for 大家樂特價下午茶! We stuffed ourselves with curry fishball, squid, French toast, chicken wings, fries, and noodles. Our journey is not over yet. Owen & I had to ride another 25 minutes to get home. I can’t feel my arms, my legs and my butt by the time we got home at 4pm. The funny thing is I only got sun tan on the back of my hand.
Cycling is fun, good exercise and what a cheap entertainment!
