Dance Recital - Dancing Through the Year

After attending 6 months of pre-ballet lesson, today finally is the dance recital.  Mommy is very proud of Haley.  She did great on stage.  Haley and her group are among the youngest in the recital.  They represents the month of February.  The month of L-O-V-E.

L is for the way you look at me.  O is for the only one I see.  V is very, very extraordinary.  E is even more than anyone that you adore.  And love is all that I can give to you.  Love is more than just a game for two.  Two in love can make it, take my heart and please don't break it.  Love was made for me and you.


Recital Make-up:  Haley struggled a little bit when I tight her hair up to a bun and put make-up on her.  I explained to her that all her friends will look beautiful and wear the dance costume for the recital.  

With the theme of LOVE as background:  It's so funny that Haley kept her lips like that the whole time after I put lipstick on her.  I guess she didn't want to mess up her lipstick.  Her lips must be tired after the whole event.

Videography is not allowed during the program.  We ordered the professional DVD, so we can enjoy the show without worrying to make recording.  Here is a video from the recital rehearsal: (Third one from the right is Haley)

Thanks to grandma, grandpa, Emily and Vincent for coming to see Haley's first dance recital.

Ms. Christie had been teaching at City of San Ramon for 21 years.  She has a great passion in dance and teaching children.  We love her!
