As always I enjoyed nursing my baby very much. I love watching my babies from that angle as they have the most precious expression on their face. It is the best moment that I feel most needed for my babies. I came across the following passage during bible reading time: "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. (Isaiah 49:15-16)
Wow! A mother's love for her child is so strong, yet God says His love for us is much greater than a mother's. He described that He even engraved us on the palms of His hands...not write, not tattoo, it's ENGRAVED, which means it can never be removed or erased. What a great comfort from God's promise to us!
