仔仔...We miss U!

The worst nightmare happened the next day during our trip...we lost Haley's lovey (仔仔). I am 100% sure that the cleaning lady wrapped 仔仔 in the sheets when she cleaned the room. We turned the room upside down to look for her, but we couldn't find her. I called the housekeeping and security department the same night but they did't have it. Haley was exhausted and she slept in the car on our way back to the hotel after watching the fireworks at Lake Tahoe. She carries 仔仔 with her all the time at home and she loves to sleep with her. I thought we were saved for the first night without 仔仔 since she has already fallen asleep. In the middle of the night, Haley woke up to search the bed and asked for 仔仔. I told her 仔仔 went to take a bath just like what I used to tell her when I took her to wash. However, Haley wanted 仔仔 so bad, and she kept turning her head and continued to cry for 仔仔. Mommy's nose and heart were so sour to see her missing 仔仔 so much. Mommy's tears began to fall and I held Haley in my arms and kissed her in her forehead. I think Haley knew mommy was crying with her and she suddenly stopped crying, but quietly stayed in my arms, yet her eyes were opened staring at the ceiling. Haley finally fell asleep after a while. I blamed myself for not putting it away before we left the room. I blamed myself that I should be more careful. I stayed up to search online to see where we can buy the same baby doll for her, but 仔仔 has been discontinued in all stores. We ordered online a same looking doll but with a different outfit. She still asked for 仔仔 after we got home, I told her that 仔仔 went to visit grandma and grandpa in Hong Kong. She is going to bring them back to visit Haley. That's why 仔仔 will be away from her for a few days. I gave her another baby doll we called her 女女 to go to bed with her while waiting for 仔仔 to be delivered. I am planning to explain to Haley that 仔仔's outfit is dirty and mommy has bought her new clothes, hopefully Haley will be OK with it. 仔仔 is like family, 仔仔 is in both Owen and my mind for the last few days. We imagine 仔仔 must be like one of those toys in Toy Story, trying to find her way back to her owner. I didn't give up in finding 仔仔 either, I kept calling the resort to see if they find 仔仔. One of the staff at laundry sorting told me she picked up and checked in at the security lost and found, but security couldn't locate 仔仔. I just emailed the customer relations department for help and let's pray that 仔仔 will be returned to our home soon!
