魔髮師

I went to a new hair salon for coloring and cut today. This is my first time having American cut my hair. Angela is great! She had it done exactly how I wanted. I love the layers and the different color sessions she made for me. People can imagine I'm a coconut head, but I think 真係好型嘞. Very happy! I wish I can set it the same way tomorrow.

Hip Hop

We (Stella, Chrisee, Cassandra and myself) went to the first hip hop class last night. In that 45-minute session, we were taught so many moves and turns. This is supposed to be the beginner session, how come people seem like to know exactly what they are doing. In contrast, I was pretty confused the whole time, yet still having a lot of fun. I think I remember all the steps in slow motion, but my body just doesn’t coordinate when I tried following the class with music. Aiya! I got to practice 3000 times to remember the steps and pick up that hip hop attitude before the next class. After all, this whole routine we learned is only the warm-up routine. Oh no!

ASSS returned!

The ASSS finally ended their 3 months vacation in Hong Kong. Yesterday was the first time meeting the girls after they returned. Sasa was still asleep the whole time and Sammi still had her BIG “熊貓眼” due to jetlag. In my own interpretation, I think Sammi still recognized me, the “Maggie Auntie”. For the first time, she called me “Maggie 姐姐”. That's super sweet! She wins my heart. She definitely learned how to talk a lot while she's in Hong Kong.

時間過得太快啦!

今天是我們的十二週年紀念日. 看看以前的我們...哇!

一早6點起身車Owen全家 到機場, Alaska Cruise - 好羨慕呀!
回家後立刻打掃,因今天約了安裝new furnace & air-conditioning. 這是送給自己的超級大禮物! 超浪漫勁實際!
今晚朋友從遠方來,Tony from Arizona... 晚餐&麻將,無一不可.

偷得浮生半日閒

I gave up work yesterday for a half-day spa with my girlfriends, Canna and Christina. We hung out in the whirlpool & steam room, and I did a 50 minutes pure relaxation massage…that was great! It’s been a long time since the last time we pampered ourselves. WE REALLY NEED IT!
Thanks to Emily introduced this nice place to us! I would recommend anyone to try out. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s worth it.

最近工作壓力很大, 總有開不完的會. 當一個掙扎了很久的問題到差不多解決的時候, 另外一個難題總是接種而來. 感覺四面受敵, 喘不過氣. 好辛苦呀!

Perfect gift for my 58yr old daddy or myself?

June 4...my daddy's birthday...
We celebrated his birthday in a Korean restaurant this year. We finally had a peaceful dinner since my nephew Sky was asleep the whole time. No more crying or grabbing dishes from the table. But we all missed his cute little face, sometimes he will "silly-laugh" for a long time for no reason. That's really enviable how kid can be so worry-free... just laugh any time, and cry anytime. Sometimes I wish we can escape from the reality.
