Haley's little tiny heart

I notice Haley began to show a sense of self-esteem. When I ask her to apologize after she misbehaved, she will refuse to say sorry if there's someone else present. I notice if I bring her into a room and she will say sorry and acknowledge that she did things that upset mommy. I think I should begin to care more about her feelings and be aware of what I say about her in front of others when she's around.

Chester - 12 months old wellcheck

Chester is growing very well. Today he took 4 vaccines during his 12-month wellcheck. Poor baby...he had to go through the process longer than it supposed to because the nurse noticed the needle on the 4th shot was broken that she had to run out to get a new one. Chester cried so loud, but he stopped as soon as mommy held him in my arms. I never worried about the delay of his teething, but both sides of grandparents were so concerned that I decided to raise the issue to Dr. Peng. She advised no need to worry until he's 15-month. The more immediate concern is that he still can't sleep through the night on his own. As Dr. Peng recommends, there's no other way except to let him cry through with no limit on time. Based on other parents' experience that it will only take 4 days to a week, he would be able to learn. Cry through with NO LIMIT ON TIME! Owen has no problem sleeping through Chester's crying...even Haley can still sleep without waking up when the doors are closed. No one seems to bother except ME. Sigh! Chester...please grow out from waking up every 2 hours at night. Mommy need more rest so I can be a better person during the day. Don't make me go to the extreme resort!

Chester's new carseat

Chester is ready to switch to front facing seating in the car. YEAH! Hopefully he will enjoy the car ride more with the new sitting position. Another way to keep Chester happy in the car is to give him snack. Sometimes mommy forgets to bring his snack cup, then Haley will hand him crackers one piece after another. Haley is a good sister who loves to share and take care of his little brother.

Chester - self-feeding with a spoon

Chester began to self feed for a month now. Food will be all over his body and sometimes even in his hair. It is so much fun and satisfying to see how much he loves to eat.
